<![CDATA[Washington DC - Matthew Botos]]> http://matthewbotos.com/gallery/2008/Washington_DC/ For Mom's birthday, we all headed down to Washington, DC, and even managed to meet up with my brother! One of the big attractions was the new Sant Ocean Hall at the Museum of Natural History. I also enjoyed a few photo exhibits; one complimenting the ocean exhibit and another on Richard Schultes' The Lost Amazon, which brought back memories of Wade Davis' One River.

After lunch with David and Kara at the Old Post Office, we avoided the rain under the greenhouses of the Botanical Gardens and were treated to a nice rainbow over The Capitol when we emerged.
