http://matthewbotos.com/gallery/2007/Ambergris_Caye/ Our first stop in Belize was Ambergris Caye (pronounced "key"), a barrier island just behind the reef. From the Corona Del Mar, it was a little bit of a walk into town, but there were several good restaurants in the area south of town, and the dive boat picked us up at the dock in front of the hotel. Apres diving, there were nice views of the ocean to be enjoyed from the balcony of the room, or from the hammocks out front.
