Continuing on to the coastal town of Seward, we boarded the ViewFinder for a chilly "3-hour tour" of the area waters. In addition to the beautiful views, we saw several more animals, including some photo-shy sea otters and bald eagles. Our platoon of eager photographers prompted a stop at sunset, which was recorded with "forensic determination". Back in Anchorage, we explored the local bars and restaurants, including a special tour of the world-famous Chilkoot Charlie's. Everyone found something to take home; I augmented my kitchen with an ulu. This curved blade and matching bowl are traditional Inupiat tools made from local materials; the handle of this one is made of caribou antler.

Before leaving, though, we had one last adventure flying to Mount McKinley!
