Golden

Chandra and I started our Colorado trip in Golden with a visit to family friend Carole and the Horse Protection League. We caught the tail end of the show, and got to meet the horses and other volunteers. Afterwards, we walked around downtown Golden for a bit before enjoying a dinner of buffalo burgers by the river, where kayakers and tubers were escaping the 100-degree heat.
