I was up early Sunday morning browsing Flickr (now in gamma!) and was inspired to grab my boots a few photos of my own. The midweek snow and ice made for solid but slick ground to traverse, and through the light was still a bit week, I found some interesting shots. The broken clouds were also fascinating to play with in post-processing; enhancing the shadows really swept the mood from gentle to sinister. I settled towards the former. The chicken dinner is from earlier in the week; after stomping around in the cold, I was happy to have a hot chocolate.
