Matthew Botos

As an engineer and former rocket scientist, I’m a natural tinkerer, happily spending my time working on this site, taking and organizing photos, doing car audio projects, writing software or building trails in the park. Work provides plenty of indoor time, so I love spending the rest outside, be it on a mountain bike or a snowboard. I also like to cook; here’s my house menu.

My education sometimes feels like overkill for being a corporate minion, but I did earn a BS from Cornell and ME from Penn State. The best times were my summer co-op taming the thunderchicken and some fun class projects.

One of my big passions these days is travel. The list of places I’ve been has grown nicely, but there’s plenty more to explore.
